Meet The Team

Co-Owner and Teacher
Paula Rasmussen
I have been practicing yoga on and off for over 20 years. I am a certified instructor in IMX Pilates, Spin and Beginning Yoga and taught at IMX Pilates in Fremont before my husband and I moved to Morgan Hill in 2019. Professionally I have been a trial lawyer for the past 14 years. In 2021, after COVID restrictions lifted a bit, I re-started my yoga practice and met Jen Carrubba and was introduced to Hot Yoga. Her classes really saved me from the anxiety and stress of that uncertain time and I began to truly rely on those hot yoga sessions. I met some wonderful people who also loved and needed her classes and our "yoga collective" was formed. I look forward to retirement from the legal profession and to dedicating myself to MHYC and to continuing to learn and grow my own practice with our great teachers. See you on the mat!

Teacher
Liz Falvey
Hi I’m Liz and I have been teaching and practicing Yoga for over 25 years. I earned my Master of Fine Arts Degree in Dance and I am currently an associate Professor of Dance at Evergreen Valley College. I love teaching others about movement of the body, whether the focus is on Yoga, Pilates, Dance or Fitness. I’m so excited to work at Morgan Hill Yoga Collective and create a community where people can learn, grow and practice new skills for a more balanced and peaceful life. Yoga is a daily practice in my life as it is a physical, mental and spiritual practice. This ancient practice helps to keep me grounded and living in gratitude and my hope is to share with others all that I have learned. I’m also looking forward to learning and growing myself in this new beautiful community and space. Namaste.

Teacher
Jessica
Hi, I am Jessica and I am so excited to be part of this collective. I have taught yoga and embodiment practices for over 15 years. I bring a playful and grounded awareness to my classes while emphasizing presence and curiosity. I teach an alignment based flow class for all levels and encourage all students to tune into what they need in the moment. I believe that our yoga practice is “practice for real life” and the choices we make on our mat prepare us for all the choices we make off of our mat. I also believe that life is better when we do it together. Our shared experience feeds the core of who we are. While not teaching yoga, I am a mother of 3, wife, circle leader and artist. I aim to curate experience for humans to embody, create and connect. I look forward to practicing with you.

Teacher
Debbie Stocksick
Hi, I’m Debbie and I have been teaching yoga for over 20 years. My love of yoga started when
my crew at El Monte Fire Station wanted to take yoga for flexibility and I wanted to take it to
build strength. We started practicing yoga as a crew and found out it did both, but also brought
calmness to the emergencies and chaos we found ourselves in each shift. After being featured
in Yoga Journal Magazine, we were asked to share our yoga story on Oprah and how Yoga reset
our muscles, posture, energy and brought us closer together as a crew. I want to share my love
of yoga and the benefits with anyone who wants to learn so you have the same success as my
crew did. With each class you take at Yoga Collective, you will build stamina, strength, and
flexibility while at the same time building friendships. I can’t wait to meet you!

Teacher
Stefani Clark
I'm Stefani and I have been practicing yoga for over 20 years now. I started yoga as a kid when I was a dancer. Yoga became the calm I needed to tame the crazy!! I'm grateful everyday that I get to make it to my mat for practice, and I love to share yoga with everyone. I feel blessed to be part of our always growing community here in Morgan Hill. I have two wonderful kiddos and the most wonderful husband. Yin Yoga is my passion because with its long holds and breathing techniques, it helps everyone work through so much, inside and out, on and off the mat.
